Isle of Man 28th-29th April 2007

Pictures in the gallery.

I'd never been to the Isle of Man before, so I was looking forward to this trip, which would be unknown territory for me. We drove up to Liverpool on Friday night to meet the MV Madog for the crossing. The weather forecast was good and we expected an excellent weekend of shallow wrecks and reefs in excellent vis.

Unfortunately, the weather took a turn for the worse (Easterly Force 6) which limited what we could do a bit, but we still got three pleasant dives around Port Erin and had a relaxing weekend in the sunshine. Arrving back in Liverpool about 1am Monday, I was very glad I booked Monday off work :-).

Many thanks to Hazel of Pennine SAC for inviting us on this one.
