Dartmouth, June 2012

A long and late bank holiday weekend on the South Coast, It's June, so it has to be good, right? Oh no.. heavy winds, unpleasant waves and a massive orange plakton bloom conspired to seriously limit our diving. Nevertheless, the baot and skipper were very helpful and made the most of it for us, and Dartmouth is a very pretty town with plenty to see out of the water as well as under. The sun came out for the Jubilee flotila to make their way along the River Dart, all dekced out in bunting and making a lot of noise and the atmosphere was festive 9evne for a cynic like me). Underwater higlights were beautiful pink sea fans and over friendly bull husk, but we want some sunshine please :-).
