Trimix Course, April 2005

Tony, Ed, Matt and myself, along with some good friends from Hellfins, spent 4 days in the cold, deep waters of the national diving centre at Chepstow. learning how to speak with a squeaky voice by diving on Trimix (a breathing gas that mixes Helium, Nitrogen and Oxygen) under the tuition of Jack Ingle. Apart from the squeaky voice, Helium reduces Narcosis and allows us to dive safely beyond the 50m limit set on air divers. By doing the course I hoped to prepare myself to go diving where many divers cannot go and start a new chapter in my diving adventure.

I had a lot of fun, learned loads and hope to put the knowlege to good use in the future, when I can afford a fill, that is.
